Michael van Gerwen will face Daryl Gurney during his second group stage match at the Champions League of Darts on Saturday evening.
The 29-year-old Dutchman made a successful start to the tournament on Saturday afternoon, as he smashed Dave Chisnall 10-2 with a stunning 111 average. Van Gerwen also expects to win his second match comfortably. He labelled Gurney as 'not a tough opponent', when he was talking to Paddy Power News.
''Daryl Gurney is not a tough opponent'', the world number one answered when he was asked how high he rates 'Superchin' as a challenger. ''I don’t think he’s good enough for the top eight in the world.''
''Winning is the most important thing for me. I love winning, I just need to make sure I’m going to do it. I feel good for this weekend, so why not?''
