Michael van Gerwen will take on Steve Beaton in the first round at the World Matchplay which is a clash which 'Mighty Mike' says bring back nice memories from their previous matchup in 2012.
Van Gerwen hit one of his most famous nine-darters against Beaton in their tie and in his tweet he also tagged in former England cricketer Freddie Flintoff who commentated on the nine-darter.
MVG tweeted: ‘Looking forward to the World Matchplay. ‘The draw has been made and I will play @Stevebeaton180 in round one.
‘Brings back nice memories for me… who remembers this one?, How about you @flintoff11 ?’
