Huybrechts set to lose Belgian number one status after eight and a half years

Kim Huybrechts is likely set to lose his spot as Belgian's number one it has been revealed by Darts statistician Christopher Kempf a.k.a Ochepedia.
It has been an eight and a half year reign for 'The Hurricane' but he will lose his spot to Dimitri van den Bergh unless he earns at least £500 more than 'The Dreammaker' at the next two Players Championship events.
This means realistically by the end of Wednesday, Dimitri could be Belgium's new number one. This won't really change much World Cup wise as Kim would be the number two by a long way but it shows how poor in cases his form has been in the past 18 months.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
