Michael van Gerwen is through to the Quarter-Finals at the Melbourne Darts Masters but faces a tough test up next with the World Number One set to face Gary Anderson.
Van Gerwen saw off Tim Pusey earlier in the first round and said that he cannot afford to make mistakes against 'The Flying Scotsman'.
He admitted that he has not played his best but that he is just wanting to give himself chances and that he wants to now focus on facing Anderson.
“Gary and I always have great games and I can’t afford to make any mistakes against him.
“I have not played my best but I just have to keep giving myself chances and doing the right things at the right moments.
“I am happy to get the win today but now I have to focus on playing Gary.”
