Michael van Gerwen has become a father for a second time with Mike being welcomed to his family.
Van Gerwen and his wife Daphne’s first child Zoë was born in August 2017. The world number one revealed the gender of his new child last year, with Zoë involved in this on his Twitter page.
Earlier, Mighty Mike was candid about the desire to get a second child. His wife suffered miscarriages in the past, the three-time world champion told RTL Nieuws.
"The darts [performances] often go well, but in that perspective it didn't went well. We have had a miscarriage a few times and I know that it is generally not so easy to talk about. It are heavy situations.''
He continues: "And if it's not going easily, then you walk in and out of the hospital. That's is not nice. Especially when you talk about it. It is something that you cannot buy with all the money in the world. That hurts and not only for me, but also for my wife'', Van Gerwen said last year.
