Order of Merit Players Championship after PC 12 | Wessel Nijman stretches lead after another title, Beau Greaves climbs again as Luke Littler remains on zero

The Players Championship series comprises a total of 34 tournaments which take place over Hildesheim, Wigan, Leicester, Milton Keynes and new for 2026, a trip to Den Bosch.

It sees the top names including Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen and Gian van Veen in action over the course of the year with the PDC ProTour being seen as the so-called Bread and Butter tournaments that help towards qualifying for most majors including the PDC World Darts Championship.

But the Players Championship Order of Merit is the one to watch for this series as it sees the top 64 players over the course of the season qualify for the Players Championship Finals which take place in Minehead at the end of November.

It is determined based on total prize money won by each player in the Players Championship events throughout the year. The top 64 qualify and it also spells some issues as it did in 2025 for the likes of Luke Littler, Nathan Aspinall and Luke Humphries who had to qualify late. Michael van Gerwen for instance did not qualify at all.

Wessel Nijman again continues to stun winning a fourth title of the year and he is long and away the top player on the ProTour. He is now on £83,250 on the Players Championship race compared to Chris Dobey who added to his tally but only to go basically £20,000 behind.

Kevin Doets also stretches his lead in third after another good run. Beau Greaves again continues to rise going up to fourth after rising from 22nd.

Price shoots down to sixth as James Wade goes up to fifth. Ross Smith and Andrew Gilding remain unchanged. While Ryan Searle and Joe Cullen swap places.

Jermaine Wattimena after reaching the final goes from 43rrd to 16th. While Tom Bissell goes from 25th to 15th after a semi-final run. Gary Anderson is up to 13th too from 16th.

While Max Hopp is up to 19th from 24th. Luke Littler is also still on zero as he continues to boycott the ProTour.
