The next two players through to the Quarter-Finals at the Players Championship Finals have been confirmed with Michael van Gerwen and William O'Connor into the last day.
Van Gerwen moved through to the Quarter-Finals after a 10-6 win over James Wade in what was a thrilling tie on the main stage.
Wade's problem came on the doubles and he had multiple chances towards the end but couldn't make them count meaning that ha late surge from Mighty Mike was enough for him to claim the victory.
Van Gerwen hit a 106 average and eight 180's en route; Wade on the other hand did not disgrace himself with a 102 average and seven maximums to his name but it is MVG that joins the Sunday line-up.
As does O'Connor who defeated the in-form Gabriel Clemens to reach a maiden ranking TV Quarter-Final to continue his rise.
This is showed with him going ahead of Steve Lennon in the rankings as of next week after his performances this weekend.
He came out with a 10-7 win over Clemens defying a 102 average from the German with a 95 average himself.
