The first two Quarter-Finalists have been confirmed at the Players Championship Finals with Gerwyn Price and Stephen Bunting both through to the final day.
Bunting started proceedings on Stage Two and produced a brilliant performance to ease past Ryan Meikle in a 10-2 win.
'The Barber' who up to press had a great weekend just had no answer to the prowess of 'The Bullet' who averaged 107 en route.
As revealed after his win, in his 3 matches this weekend so far he has only played 29 legs and his tournament average is around the 103 mark so he is definitely a player to watch going into Sunday.
As is
Gerwyn Price who extended his unbeaten run to nine matches with victory over Mensur Suljovic 10-4 which included a 101 average and five 180's.
'The Iceman' had hit seven straight legs at one point in an imperious display but despite Suljovic reducing arrears, it was the only real consolation he got throughout the tie with Price moving through after building the early lead.
