Van Gerwen survives Brooks scare, set to face Rock in Players Championship 7 Final

The final of Players Championship 7 is set and it will see Michael van Gerwen and Josh Rock facing off with a first title of the season on the line for both in Hildesheim.

Van Gerwen had to survive a scare seeing off Bradley Brooks 7-5 and having to come from 4-2 down to and have Bam Bam miss multiple huge ton plus checkouts to get over the line in the end.

But he has and will now aim to add his first ProTour against Rock who had a simpler task breezing past Krzysztof Ratajski 7-3.
