Van Gerwen wins exhibition tournament after wins over Mardle and Van der Voort

Michael van Gerwen was the winner at an exhibition tournament on Monday night at the Slieve Russell Hotel in the Irish town of Ballyconnell.

In addition to Van Gerwen, Vincent van der Voort, Fallon Sherrock and Wayne Mardle were invited to the event. They played a number of legs against people in the audience and played a tournament among themselves.

During the tournament, Van Gerwen won 4-1 against Mardle in the semifinals. Van der Voort was too strong for Fallon Sherrock with the same figures. Then in the final, Van Gerwen took the win 4-3 against his compatriot.
