Michael van Gerwen will not play in the final tournament at PDC
Super Series 6 after deciding to go home early from Barnsley on Wednesday.
The World Number Three failed to finally win his first title of the season once again during this PDC Super Series coming up against an incredible display against Daryl Gurney on the opening day.
This saw him record the fourth highest losing average ever in the PDC. Following that, it was an early exit at the hands of Kevin Doets, his compatriot on Tuesday.
It is unknown why the Green Machine has decided to head home early but his next action won't be until Budapest now next month when the European Tour returns.
