Danny van Trijp thrashed John Henderson 6-0 in the opening round of the German Darts Open in Jena and will face Martin Schindler today.
Van Trijp has impressed all year on the Challenge Tour and said it is his best darting year yet.
"A real big game for me, I didn't expect that it was going to be 6-0. The first three legs John didn't throw what I expected him to throw, after the three legs, it was easier to throw my own game," said Van Trijp post match.
"Till now I've been throwing darts six years and 2022 is my best year until now.
Before being asked about facing Schindler and his answer was simple. "It's an away game (on Schindler)."
