Van Veen and Klaasen qualify for Belgian Darts Open

Gian van Veen and Jelle Klaasen have won the qualification tournament for players without a PDC Tour Card for the Belgian Darts Open.

Klaasen triumphed in the final round 5-2 against compatriot Jurjen van der Velde, after also beating Arjan Konterman (5-1) and Matthias Grube (5-1).

Van Veen had to go deep in the first round against Wesley Plaisier (5-4), but then easily won against Markus Kessler (5-1), Johannes Bruns (5-2) and Marcel Hexel (5-1).

The Belgian Darts Open is one of the tournaments during the 2022 PDC European Tour. This event will take place in Wieze from September 23-25.
