Chris Dobey became the second player to throw a nine-dart finish at the 23rd
Players Championship tournament of the season in Leicester on Wednesday. Unlike Adam Warner's perfect leg earlier in the day, however, 'Hollywood's nine darter was seen on the stream board.
After wins over Richie Burnett (6-5), Nathan Rafferty (6-2), Andrew Gilding (6-5), Mike de Decker (6-1) and Jonny Clayton (6-5), Dobey faced Martin Schindler in the semifinals.
He had a sublime start to the match by starting the match with two 180 scores. Dobey then pinned 141 to complete the nine-darter. It is for Dobey his third perfect leg on the PDC circuit and his second of the season.
