Adam Warner delivered a stunning performance Wednesday at the 23rd
Players Championship tournament by throwing a
nine-dart finish. It is his first perfect leg at the PDC.
After his 6-5 win over Jimmy van Schie in the first round, Warner faced another Dutch opponent in the second round of Players Championship 23.
Against Jurjen van der Velde, Warner took a 1-0 lead by holding throw. Van der Velde also held, making it 1-1 after two legs. Warner then started the third leg, which he did very well with two 180s. Warner then threw a 141 finish to complete his nine darter.
This perfect leg gave Warner a 2-1 lead. The next four legs also went with the darts. Then Van der Velde took three legs in a row, giving the Dutchman a 6-4 win.
