The fifth day of action at the Grand Slam of Darts saw the start of Last 16 matches with the first Quarter-Finalists confirmed.
This included Dimitri van den Bergh who claimed a superb victory over Jonny Clayton, Simon Whitlock battling past Adam Hunt and Jose de Sousa surviving a comeback against Dave Chisnall.

I was there when he (luckily) won the 96 World Championship, I expected him to win and perfom better in the PDC than he did as he moved over so early when he still had good form.
