On Day Three at the World Matchplay, the first round came to a close with two big names in action as crowds returned in full to the Winter Gardens in Blackpool for the first time.
Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson were involved, while Daryl Gurney and Ian White played out a thriller. Nathan Aspinall also looked for his first win on the World Matchplay stage.
