A tricky tie on paper before the match, Bunting didn't perform to his recent form and Anderson coasted through in the end to set up a tie with Nathan Aspinall.
It was a slow start from the duo but Anderson led Bunting in the early going 3-2 and this increased to a 4-2 lead despite only averaging 85.
But as Anderson got better, Bunting stagnated and at the interval, Anderson's lead was soon 7-3 as he was running away with it as 'The Bullet' was only averaging 79.
He didn't hand it to Anderson though and despite an average of only 84, he took two further legs to make it interesting at 8-5. But Anderson was soon one away from the finishing line which he completed without a deal of fuss.
