(VIDEO) James Wade shows Arjan van der Giessen his most prized possession: “Love it less than my wife but nearly as much”

Before the 2023 Masters, Arjan van der Giessen took a visit for Viaplay to the home of James Wade to see his most prized possession.

Known for his love of cars and being a mechanic, Wade has one car that means the most despite hardly driving it.

"This is what I love, less than my wife but nearly as much. This is my baby, I've probably done 1,000 miles in it in eight years. Two of those times, it's broken down. This is the car, I watched British Touring Cars (BTCC) as a kid and this is the most successful British Touring Car of all time.

"It was the car I loved, the colour I loved. I had two of them but Samantha (his wife) made me get rid of one. I now remind her how much money they are worth and how much she cost us."

"I reckon it's worth over 100 grand now," said Van der Giessen. "Yeah definitely," replied Wade.
