Luke Littler, Damon Heta and now Martin Schindler, there could've already been four nine-dart finishes on the PDC World Darts Championship stage this week. But the German became the latest to miss it.
He follows Littler and Heta who also missed the feat last night in the remaining two matches. Christian Kist hit one earlier in the tournament and scooped a fan and himself £60,000 albeit in defeat.

It was even worse for Schindler who ironically despite missing double 12 for it ended up losing the leg anyway in his top tie with Callan Rydz to start the evening's entertainment on the penultimate night before the Christmas break.
