Luke Littler and Peter Wright were involved in a thrilling quarter-final on night 4 of the 2024 Premier League Darts in Newcastle on Thursday.
Although Wright put on his best showing of the tournament so far, averaging over 103, the Scot was unable to get his first win on the board as Littler edged the match in a deciding leg.
After the match though, respect between the pair was clear to see as both Wright and Littler shared a moment together as they waited for the lift.
"In the game, could've gone tops tops," Littler is saying to Wright as the camera catches the pair reflecting on what had just transpired. "I don't know why," Wright responds. "In my head I thought don't switch! But, good game," he concludes.

- I completely agree with Vincent's comments on "whistlegate". It's great to have someone with Vincent's exprience address this issue, so hopefully clearer and stricter guidlelines can be given to referees, security and members of the crowd. No whistling during throws, and something like: whistlers evicted and fined a hefty sum.
