VIDEO | Ricky Evans brings the Christmas spirit to the Ally Pally with epic festive walk-on

Ricky Evans is known as one of darts biggest characters and the Englishman's traditional Christmas walk-on at the Alexandra Palace has long become a stable of the PDC World Darts Championship with his year's edition no different.
The fans in attendance at the Ally Pally are having a real treat tonight, after Christian Kist's nine-darter earlier in the evening, Christmas has now arrived. As is the case every year, Ricky Evans brought the Alexandra Palace crowd to life with his Christmas themes walk on. Accompanied by a blow up elf, Evans, famed for his rapid throwing style, miked every second of his walk-on, having the audience in the palm of his hands singing along to Shakin Stevens classic Merry Christmas Everyone.

- So all of a sudden Littler is just a kid and it’s unfair as the Media’s darling golden boy gets the grief, never a problem though was it while it was Gerwyn Price. Been saying this for ages that something needs doing about crowd behaviour but the PDC don’t really care as long as the pissed up punters flock to Premier League night. The worry for the PDC is that as Littler has gone beyond the darts fan base and is the most high profile player in the world there is the risk that he is bigger than the PDC and then others with more clout (government for example) may start telling them to clean up their act.
