Ryan Searle provided the perfect start to another Pro Tour day in Hildesheim on Monday. In the very first leg of the tournament, "Heavy Metal" threw a nine-dart finish.
The 37-year-old Englishman threw his perfect leg in his match against Joshua Richardson. Searle started the match with scores of 180 and 177, before throwing a 144 finish in the third turn. The referee did not seem quite awake yet as he called "game shot and the match," with Searle only getting his first of six legs in.
In the end, Searle did manage to win the match 6-3. The former major finalist recorded an average of 104.54, and thus had a good start to Players Championship 7
