(VIDEO) So close to World Record for Josh Rock with astonishing 121.88 average at Players Championship 22 in Dolan demolition

Josh Rock has emerged as a truly incredible darting talent since claiming his Tour Card out of nowhere in January which has included multiple Development Tour titles and also a semi-final run on the ProTour.

But he has produced his best yet coming so close to breaking a World Record with an astonishing 121.88 average during a demolition of Brendan Dolan, the last ProTour winner.

It was 6-1 for the Northern Irish ace who hit six 180's and sealed victory with a 121 checkout on the bull. In a display which also included two 11-darters and three 12-darters.

This mark goes fourth all time with only Peter Wright in 2019 at PC29 against Krzysztof Ratajski averaging 123.53, Michael van Gerwen's TV best of 1`23.40 against Michael Smith and Kim Huybrechts 121.97 albeit over a shorter format against Paul Lim better.
