Stephen Bunting experienced his finest moment so far in the Premier League Darts 2025 on Thursday night. At the Uber Arena in Berlin, he crowned himself the winner of the ninth night of play, but that was not the only highlight of the evening. Even before his first dart on the big stage, "The Bullet" showed his form.
In the practice room behind the scenes, where players quietly prepare for their matches, Bunting threw a brilliant nine-dart finish under the watchful eye of the Sky Sports cameras. Through two 180 scores and a 141 finish, he needed only nine darts to go from 501 to 0.
As if it were an omen, Bunting then took that top form effortlessly onto the stage. He defeated Nathan Aspinall convincingly in the quarterfinals, then surprised world number one Luke Humphries in the semifinals to defeat Gerwyn Price 6-5 in the final match in a thrilling match. In doing so, he took his first ever weekly Premier League title.
