The 2024
World Darts Championship is currently on hold due to the Christmas break. But to still be able to enjoy top darts these days, the PDC has created a video containing highlights of the five best pre-Christmas matches.
In spot five is the Northern Irish clash between Brendan Dolan and Mickey Mansell, which was only decided after a sudden-death leg. Next up is Matt Campbell's shock against James Wade.
In third place is Man Lok Leung's comeback against Gian van Veen. The darter from Hong Kong was 0-2 in sets behind against the Dutchman, but still won 3-2 in sets from Van Veen.
The second spot also featured a comeback. Florian Hempel managed to turn a 0-2 deficit into a 3-2 win against Dimitri van den Bergh. The match between Luke Littler and Christian Kist was voted the best match of the World Darts Championship until the Christmas break. The 16-year-old Littler made a stormy debut at Alexandra Palace. With an average of 106.12, the English prodigy triumphed 3-0 in sets against Christian Kist.
