Nathan Aspinall sealed a dramatic comeback win over
Danny Noppert on Thursday night to seal his spot in the Quarter-Finals of the
World Grand Prix.
But Noppert as expected felt aggrieved post match after a dramatic conclusion to the tie which saw referee Russ Bray have to ask for best of order multiple times as the crowd in Leicester attempted to get on the back of the Dutchman.
Aspinall decided to stoke the fire seemingly and ask for more noise and Noppert following that took 13 darts to get into the decider ending his charge and as a result, both players had words post match after initially not shaking hands.
