Sunday night the semi-finals and final took place during the final day of the World Cup of Darts in Frankfurt.
Eventual winners, Damon Heta and Simon Whitlock surprisingly beat the English duo Michael Smith and James Wade, while Dutch duo Dirk van Duijvenbode and Danny Noppert couldn't continue their prowess shown throughout the tournament losing out to Wales.
The Australians then also surprisingly took the title. In the final they were too strong for the Welsh team 3-1.
