After exiting the World Cup of Darts at the hands of Australia, Kim Huybrechts was scathing in his criticism of the German crowds and said that PDC Europe should host more tournaments in other countries.
Huybrechts doubled down on the criticism standing by his point that there should be more tournaments held elsewhere in Europe as opposed to just Germany and in a lot of cases the odd tournament in the Netherlands.
“Congrats to Team Aussie! Wow what a tournament they played! Deserved winners I think! Now focus on the next Pro Tours Barnsley," he wrote.
He then added: “And about yesterday, i should have said it differently. Crowds can be hostile, that’s no fun but i do think we need more tournaments all over Europe, and not mostly Germany.”

Not a fan of Mr Potato head but I agree with him. The World Cup of Darts has been predominantly played in Germany, I am sure only once in England and Austria.
As it is the World Cup, maybe it should be in a different county every year, it would open the market to fans in countries who never get to see top level darts.
I would also like to see a Romanian team, they have decent players.
