Vintage Anderson with 111 average to dispatch Bunting as Dobey dumps out Van Gerwen at Players Championship 23

The insane standard is on full display at Players Championship 23 in Barnsley with Gary Anderson in particular standing out in his win over Stephen Bunting.

Showing glimmers at times of returning to his previous form, he is at it again with a 111 average including eight 180's to see off 'The Bullet' 6-3 who himself averaged 101 in defeat.

Chris Dobey also stunned with a 6-5 success over Michael van Gerwen who despite his Amsterdam success can't produce on the ProTour. Luke Humphries and Ryan Searle both hit 106 averages in their wins, with a 100 mark from Jonny Clayton in seeing off Ian White.

Christian Kist after his run to the final yesterday is into the Last 16 again, while Humphries in moving through now has the tie of the round against Ross Smith. As Anderson now faces Luke Woodhouse. Into the Last 16 we go.
