Virtual PDC Order of Merit after second round at World Darts Championship: Price currently down to fourth, Anderson falls out of top 16

As usual, after the PDC World Darts Championship, the Order of Merit is shaken up considerably. On the virtual PDC Order of Merit after the second round, there are already big changes.

Gerwyn Price, for example, has virtually dropped from first to fourth place. That is because 'The Iceman' has to defend his world title from two years ago. Peter Wright is virtually number one, followed by Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith. All of them, like Price for that matter, can still grab the number-one position after the tournament.

Gary Anderson, a losing finalist two years back, needs to come a long way to avoid a free fall. For now, the Scot falls from 11th place to 21st. Rising star Josh Rock is now 39th and will need to make the semi-final to dip into the top-32.
