James Wade has ended the first half of the
Premier League Darts with a draw against pace setter
Dimitri van den Bergh.
Wade reeled off three legs on the spin to claim the 6-6 draw with another quality display seeing him hitting a 103 average with four 180's and 6/9 on the doubles.
The opening two legs were shared before Wade broke throw with double 10 to move 2-1 up. But Van den Bergh came straight back with a 72 checkout to make it 2-2.
It was back and forth between the pair with Wade taking out 129 to make it 3-3 before Van den Bergh led with a 12-darter to make it 4-3.
A timely break followed with a ten darter to make it 5-3 and he consolidated that with a 160 checkout to secure at least a point at 6-3.
This is when Wade rallied kicking off with back-to-back 180's and double 20 to break and trail 6-5 and he secured the draw from there.
