James Wade illuminated Butlins Minehead with a stunning nine-dart finish against Boris Krcmar to reach the Quarter-Finals in the defence of his
UK Open title.
Wade spoke afterwards and was pleased to get past the Croatian and to hit a nine-dart finish.
"I'm really happy, moving onwards and upwards to the next game. I'm quite lucky to hit a nine darter on the stage so I'm really happy," he said to Online Darts.
This after he was snubbed for previous games despite being defending champion.
"Obviously the previous games I guess I wasn't eligible to be on that main stage so I'm happy to be back here with the big players."
