Highest averages by full Premier League debutants in first match: Suljovic, Webster and Lloyd top list

Ahead of the Premier League Darts starting again on Monday, there will be multiple debutants in this years line-up in the form of Jose de Sousa, Dimitri van den Bergh and Jonny Clayton.

A full list of highest averages by full Premier League debutants in their first match has been released by Weekly Dartscast with Mensur Suljovic topping the standings.

This was during his 2018 opener against Simon Whitlock in a game which is fondly remembered as he went on to lose to 'The Wizard' 7-5.

While 2011 saw Mark Webster see off James Wade 8-3 on the opening night with a 100.49 average. Followed by Colin Lloyd (99.15) and Robert Thornton (98.94).

Other players on the list include further down the likes of Phil Taylor (98.76) and Raymond van Barneveld (98.66). Can any of this year's debutants add themselves to the roll of honour?
