Luke Littler is currently focusing on continuing his incredible form in darts onto the World Series, backing up his incredible display at the PDC World Darts Championship where he defended his title. However, that is not the only thing on his mind, with the 18-year-old selling numerous sports cards online.
While most darts players would probably be packing or practicing ahead of the Bahrain Darts Masters, the world champion took up his Sunday evening packaging and posting the cards ahead of traversing to the Middle East.
It has not been an easy process, in fact becoming very time consuming for the world number one. Nevertheless, he has persevered with the task at hand, updating his passionate followers on his Instagram page. The cards included Premier League cards signed by the players, with them all up for sale on Littler's personal eBaypage.
"As people know, (I’ve) been listing cards on eBay," he wrote alongside a picture of the stacked cards. "First cards are the Premier League cards from the hobby boxes, got memorabilia cards and auto cards. I go away tomorrow to start the 2026 World Series campaign so will be listing cards for a few hours and sending them in post boxes or in post lockers, whichever you choose."
He was not the only one at work, with his girlfriend Faith Millar also helping him out. She also shared updates on her Instagram page, writing: "Well, that was a mission..."
Finally, they got the job done, with Littler confirming the news ahead of him travelling out to Bahrain. "And that's a wrap."
Littler will be hoping to retain his Bahrain Masters title. He triumphed in the Middle East in his first venture into the World Series in 2024 after making a historic run all the way to the final of the World Darts Championship, losing 7-4 to Luke Humphires.
He hit a nine-darter on the way to the title, but a year later was powerless against an unstoppable Gerwyn Price, who averaged 115.31 in a 6-2 quarter-final triumph, making Littler's impressive 105.12 average very small.
The Bahrain Darts Masters will take place from January 15-16, with Littler and co heading straight to Saudi Arabia to compete in the inaugural Saudi Darts Masters, commencing from January 19-20.
