Players Championship 13, producing a stunning nine-dart leg in his opening-round clash against Robert Owen.
The Dutchman was already in complete control of the match, sitting just one leg away from victory when he produced perfection. Having raced into a 5-0 lead with a display that included two 13-darters and two 15-darters, Nijman opened the sixth leg with back-to-back 180s before sealing the whitewash with a superb 141 checkout.
The flawless leg wrapped up a dominant 6-0 win and capped off a phenomenal performance that saw Nijman average a remarkable 111.33. It also marked a personal milestone, as it was the first nine-darter of his career in a PDC tournament.
