White defeated Wesley Harms 5-4 in a last leg decider to hold his nerve and move through to the second round in Wolverhampton for the first time.
He had a great start against 'Sparky' opening up a 2-0 lead in double quick time and even from there he went 3-1 up with his first 180 of the match. Despite that though, Harms started to build himself back into the contest winning three legs in a row to restore parity at 3-3.
White stopped the rot and went one away but was still forced into a decider. He held his nerve though after his short blip mid match and is now through to the next round.
Wade didn't defeat Steve Lennon but ended up moving through anyway after claiming the requisite three legs he required to do so.
Lennon ended up winning 5-4 against 'The Machine' but in the end, it proved nothing more than a consolation.
The Aldershot ace only needed three legs and he moved into those three legs with absolute ease. Lennon missed multiple darts at doubles and Wade didn't need a second invitation as he romped to that three leg cushion.
This is when Wade started to take his foot off the gas though with Lennon moving to just 3-2 behind. He took three consecutive legs and Lennon then went into the lead for the first time with nothing to lose.
Wade forced a decider but Lennon got over the line to finish just outside qualification on leg difference.
