"Who's lost this": Attempting to return item or poking fun? Luke Littler finds shirt of fellow Premier League team on Orlando holiday

Luke Littler has put his darts away for now. The 19-year-old Englishman is enjoying a well-earned holiday in the United States after a gruelling stretch on the PDC circuit. Together with his girlfriend Faith Miller, the reigning World Matchplay champion is touring popular sights, far from the glare of the oche. Yet Littler still managed to draw attention on his break. Not with a spectacular finish or another title, but with a striking call on Instagram.

After his impressive victory at the World Matchplay in July, Littler made it clear he wanted to use the coming weeks to switch off. The young Englishman had endured another intense run, travelling constantly for tournaments, exhibitions, and other commitments. A US holiday was meant to help clear his head.
“I need to relax, go to America, unwind and not think about darts,” Littler said after his Blackpool triumph.
He appears to be sticking to that plan. On Instagram, Littler regularly shares snapshots from his trip. He visited Universal Studios in Orlando with Faith Millar and the pair also headed to Busch Gardens in Tampa. The theme parks are a stark contrast to his usual environment. Instead of a dartboard, stage, and thousands of fans, it is now roller coasters and American attractions taking centre stage.
Still, Littler couldn’t resist creating a small moment for his followers while on holiday. After visiting Busch Gardens, the Englishman boarded the bus back to his accommodation. There he discovered another passenger had left behind a football shirt. It turned out to be a Hull City top from the Championship.
Littler snapped a photo and posted it on Instagram with a clear message to his followers. “Who's lost this (poo emoji) then, on the same bus as me coming back from Busch Gardens, let me know” the darter wrote.

The timing of Littler’s holiday is no coincidence. He is currently missing the back-to-back World Series of Darts weekend in Australia and New Zealand. While several big names have headed to the Southern Hemisphere, Littler has deliberately opted for rest and recovery.
That means the number two in the World Series standings cannot add to his tally for now. Littler has impressed on the World Series this season. He won the event in Saudi Arabia and also reached the final in the United States. His absence is notable, but it fits his decision to take a step back after a successful spell.

Strikingly, the other two players in the top three of the World Series standings are also absent. Michael van Gerwen, currently number one, has likewise decided against travelling to Australia and New Zealand. The Dutchman chose a family holiday and shared images from his trip to Ibiza.
Luke Humphries is also missing both World Series events. The Englishman is spending time with his family and, like Littler and Van Gerwen, has opted for a brief break from darts’ hectic pace.

With the top three out, others have room to make a move. Gian van Veen is the highest-ranked player in action and has a prime chance to bank important points. Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton, James Wade, Josh Rock, Stephen Bunting, Ross Smith, and Damon Heta are among the big names competing.
For Littler, though, the coming period is mainly about enjoying himself. After his World Matchplay victory, the young Englishman made it clear he didn’t want to think about darts for a while. In America, he seems to be keeping that promise. Even without a dartboard nearby, he still, remarkably, finds his way into the headlines.

- I just think Aspinall loves the razzmatazz rather than real darts, goes on about his walk on and the premier league, loves exhibitions and proposed a 'royal rumble' and i'm not sure if it was him that suggested a Ryder Cup style tournament? I think they do need to look at how the ranking tournaments are treated, the UK Open, Euro Championships, Players' Championship all shoe-horned into four or so days rather than lasting all week and giving more players a chance to be on the big stage.Baphomet03-08-2026
- I play at home against myself, sometimes on Dartcounter, never played league or county. My best average on 501 was 107 which I hit last year. Today I was averaging 94 on a few games of 501, no warm up, just a quick chuck after dinner. I imagine it's a bit different up on stage. - Indeed I've been to Dublin on numerous occasion the atmosphere was electric and the crowd were always pumped plus the City West was a cool venue. It was a good week away The double start and finish is different and actually very enjoyable but a week in a nothing happening crime riddled city in a soulless stadium does not appeal.
