Mr Brightside by The Killers has become synonymous with The Asp but has been a positive and negative for him as such a tune would be. While he might want to change it in the past, it has been a catalyst for the popular Stockport ace to gain even more love and acclaim from the fans who sing it back.
But also has seen him receive some negativity in the past with some junctures last year when he was picked for the Premier League calling him a walk-on merchant that was only picked because his walk-on is popular with the fans over results.
While some though would see it as a mistake that he walked on to Eminem, it wasn't as Master of Ceremonies, Philip Brzezinski explained in German after a user on X (formerly Twitter) penned the following translated to English: "I would have been surprised if Aspinall had walked out to the Eminem song again now. I think that was more of an accident than planned earlier."
Brzezinski though in reality said it was a different picture and that Aspinall had chosen such a move. "It wasn't a mistake. Nathan has wanted that song for a while now, and today we gave it a try for the semifinals."

A previously mooted change as Aspinall becomes latest player to embrace different walk-on in Europe

Albeit despite the surprise, it is a change he has semi mooted on the European Tour and in his opener on Sky and ITV which morphs Lose Yourself into Mr Brightside anyway and he did as much last year in HIldesheim.
Asked about it at the time, he said that he hears it 490 million times a year and wanted to add something different. "It really did! Obviously, everyone loves Mr. Brightside, but I hear it about 490 million times a year," he said. "I’m a massive Eminem fan, and I wanted to add something a bit different at the start. The DJs were amazing on the Euro Tour, so who knows — we might introduce it to Sky and ITV as well."
He has often said that Eminem is his idol and the European Tour has proven to be a place where the top names can get away with different walk-on songs as has been proven in the past. Damon Heta's walk-on is often Links Rechts by Snollebollekes which he does not use in main PDC TV Tournaments as it is more for the local audience in Germany.
'The Heat' Damon Heta in his fire outfit does gesture.
'The Heat' Damon Heta has for a long time used the European Tour as a vehicle to hype the crowd up compared to his usual walk-on song.
Martin Schindler has up until recently used Ich Will by Rammstein and ironically himself now uses Without Me by Eminem on TV and even going back years, Alan Norris used to use Maria (I Like It Loud!) by German titans Scooter during his walk-on on the European Tour. This compared t Can't Take My Eyes Off You which suited the English audience more.

So unlike the main tournaments where it will be interesting whether Aspinall will look to change, the European Tour he is more likely to want to keep it and would be allowed to.
