Winner of Players Championship Finals to be presented with new trophy

The winner of the 2023 Players Championship Finals will receive a specially designed new trophy. This trophy was created by jeweller and goldsmith Mike Shorer, who works with the PDC to customize trophies and awards.
The trophy features a dartboard design and a silver dart arrow and will be presented for the first time Sunday night at Butlin's Minehead Resort to the winner of the Players Championship Finals.
Shorer previously created the Sid Waddell Trophy. This trophy is awarded annually to the world champion. This jeweller is also responsible for making the trophy used for the Premier League and World Grand Prix, PDC Hall of Fame and Player of the Year awards.

- It happens. Remember, anyone who has watched German and Dutch players in matches - their respective countries will have seen/heard just as bad jeering (if not worse). - Was watching an old World Masters final the other day between Eric Bristow and John Lowe, the crowd respect for both players on throw was first class, not a sound. You can imagine now the idiots who were whistling on De Deckers throw proudly boasting about it on social media. I even turned to my husband and said "Could you imagine this happening if Russ Bray was the referee tonight? At least there would have been a crowd admonishment- Ladies and Gentleman please."
