A wonderful performance from William O'Connor has seen the Irish ace race into the second round of the PDC World Darts Championship.
A massive odds on favourite with the bookmakers, O'Connor proved why, racing through the first set averaging over 104 with a perfect 3/3 on the doubles, Patel simply had no answer to the question posed.

Although Patel got his first dart at a double in the opening leg of set 2, missing tops for a 157, O'Connor continued to be dominant, taking a second straight set 3-0 to move within touching distance of round 2.
Continued brilliance from the Irishman in set 3 saw the one way traffic continue as he stretched his winning run to nine straight legs, booking his place in round 2 against Chris Dobey.
Yes it's a World Championship but the quality of the qualifiers and certain nations do no warrant a place. O Connor is a nothing player and has strolled into the second round without having to change into second gear.
Not forgetting, Mr Legohead is making his debut tonight, not a hair out of place.
