The final session is upon us at the World Series of Darts Finals with four players still in the running to claim the title at the AFAS Live in Amsterdam.
One of the main players still very much involved is Michael van Gerwen; the World Number One who bowed out early in Gottingen last weekend has been once again rejuvenated likely due to playing in front of his home crowd.
Van Gerwen edged past Jonny Clayton
earlier today; in a typical MVG performance where he had a late surge to claim the victory. He takes on Mensur Suljovic who he has an excellent record over but has lost to on stage earlier this year at the Austrian Darts Championship in the final so he will need to be on his guard. Not coming into the tournament with the best of form,
'The Gentle' has capitalised at times on players not being at their best this weekend and he will hope Mighty Mike has an off day in his quest for another TV title.
We do still have the potential though for a Double Dutch final with an interesting complexion on the opposite side of the draw. Danny Noppert will take on Dave Chisnall.
Noppert missed reams of match darts earlier but got through it against Ian White who could not get over his Quarter-Final curse. His next opponent though is one in supremely good form in Chisnall.
The St Helens ace has been one of the most in-form players on the tour right now and especially if Van Gerwen loses to Suljovic, he could sense his best chance yet to date to become a TV winner. Who will end up champion, tune in from 1900 GMT to find out or
