Wright brings fitting tribute to Remembrance Day during Grand Slam

Peter Wright in typical fashion ended up giving a brilliant tribute on Remembrance Sunday with his outfit in his victory over Ryan Harrington.
Wright ended up having a poppy themed tribute on the side of his head with a cross and a soldier's helmet in a brilliant design made by his wife, Jo.
'Snakebite' teamed the design with a red and white trouser design with crustaceans on them as he eased through to a likely Last 16 spot at Aldersley Leisure Village by making it two wins out of two.

- Maybe the supposed top players are burnt out from the endless travelling and tournaments, I just don't think they have the dedication or outright desire to win. I think they are more interested in the money and being popular, just keeping their rankings steady. The only thing that mattered to Phil Taylor was winning, not winning a few games to top up the money pot and seeking the fans attention. Maybe there is too many tournaments now and the enthusiasm is gone. This year especially has seen so many different winners and unexpected draws and line ups.richieburnettrocks14-11-2024
