The final is set at the 2023
Czech Darts Open in Prague and will either see a return to the winners' circle for a familiar face or one who has been a perennial winner on the
European Tour as of late.
After winning for the first time since 2019 to end 2022,
Dave Chisnall has won two titles already in 2023 on the European Tour and will look for a third after winning the Baltic Sea Darts Open and Dutch Darts Championship.
He was superb again in the opening semi-final averaging 98.4 and in particular hitting eight 180's en route to a 7-4 win over Rob Cross.
But in the final, it will see a certain
Peter Wright who has been written off all season mainly due to a poor Premier League and struggles with his equipment.
This weekend though, he seems to have found a combination that works and could seal his first European Tour since last September after seeing off another mainstay of the latter stages this season, Damon Heta.
'The Heat' saw his run come to an end despite a late comeback with Wright hitting a 104 average, five 180's and 7/13 on the doubles and producing a 104 checkout to win it. 'Snakebite' is back in business but can he deny the form man on the European Tour as of late?
