Wright 'deserved' Czech Darts Open title win according to Chisnall: "He had a little bit more in the final"

Runner-up at the Czech Darts Open, Dave Chisnall failed to seal a third European Tour of the year and a fourth in six months as he lost to a resurgent Peter Wright.

But he admitted post match that Wright was a rightful winner and paid tribute to the crowd too.

"Peter played brilliant and deserved to win the game," said Chisnall. "He had a little bit more in the final but it was a great weekend for me to get to the final.

"I've had a great tournament in front of a wonderful crowd - it's been a pleasure and I'm looking forward to coming back next year."
