🎯 WINNER 🎯 Congratulations to @snakebitewright, who has won the PDC Autumn Series Day One title, defeating @MadarsRazma 8-1 in the final. The Latvian won through to his second PDC final, but it's the World Champion who scooped the £10,000 title.
Peter Wright has claimed the opening day of action in the PDC Autumn Series easing past Madars Razma in an 8-1 win.
Wright has claimed the £10,000 title and a third of the season after victories in both Wigan and on the PDC Summer Series.
For Razma, it was a second PDC ranking final but one where he didn't show his best darts and as a result, his wait continues for a first title.
Wright began the final with a bang going 4-0 in front which included successive 65 finishes to steal an early march on the second time finalist.
Razma got himself off the mark after being 4-0 down to make it 4-1 hitting a 113 checkout but Wright got ever closer to the winning line at 5-1.
A break in the form of a 78 checkout saw him go within two. A 70 and 97 checkout saw him conclude proceedings and produce a stunning start to the PDC Autumn Series for the World Champion.
