Wright not pleased with West's behaviour after Quarter-Final win: "I thought I was playing Mensur"

Peter Wright again averaged 104 in seeing off Steve West in a 10-6 win to reach the semi-finals at the European Championship. But yet the World Champion was not satisfied for a multitude of reasons.

"I thought it was terrible to be honest, too many missed doubles. It was good to have the bigger crowd in tonight, it backfired in a way because when I was going for certain doubles, I had a couple of people yelling. Well just one person yelling, when it's just one person it's a bit annoying," said Wright to OnlineDarts.

"Steve started doing tactics like slowing down. I thought I was playing Mensur (Suljovic). He felt like he had to do it, I got my back up and it's why I just tried to get the game out the way."
