Wright safely through to Quarter-Finals with victory over Noppert, Ratajski also through after seeing off Cross

The second Quarter-Final is confirmed at the Belgian Darts Championship and it will see Peter Wright face a familiar foe in Krzysztof Ratajski.

This is after the duo both came through their Last 16 ties at the Belgian Darts Championship with ease.

Wright saw off the in-form Danny Noppert with ease in a 6-3 victory which saw the World Number Two average 99 with a high checkout of 121.

He only had 33 percent (6/18) on the doubles but had more attempts at doubles than his opponent who hit 3/8 so was more clinical but not in the right moments.

Ratajski on the other hand had to survive late pressure from Rob Cross in their tie. Cross ended up with 25 percent on the doubles and this showed in the early stages with the former going 4-1 up and punishing missed doubles.

Cross came back to trail 4-2 with a double one shot but this was nothing more than consolation as his poor finishing saw Ratajski come back to go one away. From there he claimed the tie to move through and continue his good form as of late.
