Meikle claims back-to-back PDC Development Tour titles with victory over Kurz in Hildesheim

Meikle who now has six PDC Development Tour titles and could be on seven by the end of the weekend has continued a dominant run on the secondary tour which has seen him be one of the leading lights for the past few seasons.

He defeated Niels Zonneveld yesterday in the final and today it was the turn of Nico Kurz, the young German who on home soil missed out in a 3-5 defeat.

In the closing stages, 'The Barber' defeated Maikel Verberk (4-2), Justin van Tergouw (5-3) and Sebastian Bialecki (5-2) before taking out Kurz.
