Peter Wright has won a third title in five days by smashing Joe Cullen in the final of Players Championship 20 to continue his world class form which he has exhibited in the past week.
Wright ended up with a 8-1 win over Cullen who didn't perform badly but just couldn't get near 'Snakebite' who extended his unbeaten run and he has only lost four out of his last 38 legs in one of the most dominant days of darts ever seen on the ProTour.
He averaged 105 and as a result has around an average of 104 for the day which shows the sustained form of the Scotsman in claiming the win in Barnsley.
Despite the loss, Cullen will be pleased to reach his first final in around two years and get some form together ahead of the World Matchplay in which both players will be seen as huge dangers.
